Umesh Sharma

Mr. Umesh Sharma is the CEO of 3A IP Services Pvt. Ltd, an expert witness reviewer & registered patent agent with Indian patent office (IN/ PA/ 1789).
He has experience in all fields of Intellectual property, including rendering opinions on a wide variety of matters in patent licensing, litigation, prosecution cases, and other related research and analytic areas.

He is now been working as expert witness support and reviewer in intellectual property and is closely associated with patent brokers, patent attorneys, managing directors, partners, legal directors, patent managers, research scientists, general counsels and IP heads of Fortune 500 companies and top IP law firms. His practice with them has focused on all types of patent-related issues involving expert reviews on invalidity search findings, infringement findings, other prior art searches and (In)validity investigations, patent drafting and illustrations, re-examination support. He has also helped his clients in filing patent and trademark applications with the Indian patent office.

He started his career in 2007 as research analyst and since then has exalted to new levels and guided the leading organizations in being front runners in this industry.

His expert areas extend to witness support, (in)validity investigations, Infringement investigations, Patent Drafting, Prior Art Search, Claim Chart reviews, EoU charts, Technology Mapping (landscape/ whitespace/ portfolio/ competitor analysis), US, EU and Indian Patent Law, IP prosecution in India, Patent Licensing Support, Patent Valuation, Trademark Searching & Filing, FTO Analysis and other business-aligned IP intelligence reviews.

He has proven himself as an innovator and great leader spearheading 3A IP to new heights of success and improving the posture of IP industry.

He holds a Biotechnology engineering degree (2007) and has a MS degree (2011) in Consultancy Management from one of the leading universities in India namely Kurukshetra University and Birla Institute of Technology and Science respectively.

An established Business Development leader with proven experience in the Global Healthcare and Pharma industry. Over the last decade, Tarun has worked with 15 of the top 20 pharma companies across various geographies, including US, Europe and Asia.

Tarun is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, one of the premier institutes of India, and has studied Immunology and Genetics from the prestigious Harvard Medical School. He is an active member of International High IQ Society and TORR (an International society of people with High IQ, 99.87 percentile and above)

Tarun has extensive experience in Business Development, Licensing, Commercial Negotiations, Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Corporate/Business Strategy aspects and has worked across various industries.
Currently, he is the Head of Global Commercial operations and Business Development of one of the top bioinformatics consulting companies.

Komal Sharma

She is an experienced patent professional and manages Validity/Invalidity Searches, Clearance Searches (FTO), Patentability Searches, and Patent Analytics & Portfolio Management for fortune 100+ clients.

She is well acquainted with the US & European patent laws and has an experience of handling 300+ IP related projects.

She has handled several projects related to Telecommunications domain and semiconductor technologies.

Dr. Craig Rosenberg

Dr. Craig Rosenberg is one of our mentors and the reason behind our success with patent litigation research and analysis. Dr. Craig Rosenberg is the founder of Trial Experts and is an accomplished human factors engineer, user interface designer, software engineer and systems engineer with extensive expert witness experience specializing in user interface design and human factors issues for embedded, mobile, web, desktop, and server software. He has extensive experience in the entire software design and development lifecycle applied to a wide range of domains, from mobile devices through enterprise-class mission-critical applications.
Dr. Rosenberg the founder and CEO of a Seattle engineering and technology company focusing advanced design and development of a complex system. Dr. Rosenberg has founded two medical technology companies and two software technology companies. In addition, Dr. Rosenberg has developed Android and iOS software for GPS enabled smartphones. He is also CEO at Global Technica & UI. Expert.
Dr. Rosenberg has been retained as an expert witness for both plaintiff and defense in over 60 cases and has testified in both State and Federal court, USPTO, and at 18 depositions. He has worked on many high-profile cases and advanced engineering projects for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies including Google, Samsung, Amazon, Boeing, IBM, Disney, Nintendo, Dell, AT&T, Motorola, Ericsson, LG, Sony, HTC, Mattel, United States Army and Air Force, Federal Aviation Administration and many others.
He has published 21 research papers in professional journals and proceedings relating to user interface design, computer graphics, and the design of spatial, stereographic, and auditory displays.
He is an award holder, from the Link Foundation for his work furthering the field of flight simulation and virtual interface design. He has won a clean energy engineering awards from the City of Los Angeles for the design of an energy saving product. He created five book covers for books by Harcourt Brace Publishing that feature the authors Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, and Stephen King and his computer graphics animations appear in the movie Beyond the Mind’s Eye produced by MIRAMAR.
As a graduate student, he was the sole recipient of a $10,000 scholarship award from I/IT SEC for advancing the field of interactive computer graphics for flight simulation. He is a member of ACM, IEEE, and the Human Factors Society and has taught Human Factors and User Interface Design at the University of Washington.
